If you wish to incorporate the Tropentag logo, you can download it here: as .eps (1.6 MB) or as .jpg (650 kB).

Poster design - some guidelines

To get an idea of designing a "good" poster - please have a look at the following guidelines.

On-line poster presentation during "Tropentag 2021"

The on-line poster sessions will (most probably) be held on the following days:
on Thursday, 10th of September, from 08:30 - 10:00, from 17:30 - 18:30 and from 18:45 - 19:30, as well as on Friday, 11th of September, from 09:00 - 10:00 (UTC+2).

During these times all interested participants can enter a virtual meeting room to discuss the uploaded posters. Each session will have a moderator. All poster presenters should upload their poster as well as a 3-4 minutes (maximum) presentation of the main message (video / PowerPoint). The exact procedure will be communicated well in advance.

Please upload your poster and presentation till September 8, using our upload service: https://www.tropentag.de/submission/contributions.php

Poster award

The organisers of Tropentag 2021 will grant the best five Tropentag posters with a price of 300 € each sponsored by Ecoland.

All posters presented at the conference are eligible to compete. The presenters of the posters are asked to upload their poster (as pdf and smaller than 2MB) https://www.tropentag.de/submission/contributions.php before September 8, 2021.

Submission of full paper

Authors of accepted poster contributions are free to submit a 4 page version of their presentation until October 31, 2021. These versions will be published online at the Tropentag website (https://www.tropentag.de). In order to search the fulltext of all published contributions, a search engine will be installed locally. Additionally the site will be promoted and submitted to major search engines.

In order to facilitate the process of publishing your contributions online, only Acrobat pdf files (portable document files, extension: .pdf) are accepted.

The contribution should be ca. 4 pages. For all contributions, paper size is DIN A4 (21x29.7 cm), top margin is 2.5cm, bottom, left and right margins are 2.2 cm. All images, figures and tables must be inserted directly into the text. You may use the file Template_TT2021.rtf as template for your contribution (Rich Text Format, can be imported from any major word processing software). Recommended layout and structure may be also seen from this four page version submitted for Tropentag 2015 in Berlin.
Please use the following form to upload your four-page-version https://www.tropentag.de/submission/contributions.php
