Poster format

Please prepare your poster in upright format (Portrait) and upload it as PDF.

Poster design - some guidelines

To get an idea of designing a "good" poster - please have a look at the following guidelines.

Poster video presentation

Poster presenters are requested to make a short video of their presentation of 3 minutes; for instance as a short PowerPoint presentation of 3 to 4 slides - see our example: www.tropentag.de/conference/TT20ExamplePosterPresentation.wmv
Please do not send only an audio file but make a video and send it as .wmv or .mp4 format.

On-line poster presentation during "Tropentag 2021" schedule

All presenters will receive an email announcing the exact presentation time of their poster session (time zone CEST or UTC+2)
Please do consult also the programme to find your time of presentation: TT21 programme

During the poster sessions all interested participants can enter a virtual meeting room to view the poster videos and discuss the posters. Each session will have a moderator and it will also be streamed. Links to the sessions will be posted on the whova platform - https://whova.com/portal/webapp/trope_202109/.

Poster award

The organisers of Tropentag 2021 will grant the best five Tropentag posters with a price of 300 € each .

All posters presented at the conference are eligible to compete.
