Organise your own Workshop

We offer you the opportunity to organise your own workshop, specifically adapted to your target audience. Preferably organised as an in-person workshop, but we will accept also online-only workshops.

The idea is that you either network targeting a specific topic or you offer capacity building, tasks forces for projects and follow your own initiative. The only condition is that your topic should be related to tropical agriculture in a wider sense.

The workshops can be organised on Tuesday September 10, 2024 from 13:00 to 18:00 h, Wednesday September 11 from 08:30 to 11:30 h, or Friday September 13 from 14:30 to 18:00 h.

If you are interested you need to apply and describe the objective and topic of the workshop using the following template. Fill in the template and send it not later than 20th of May to infotropentag.de.

You will receive feedback of your application not later than 20th of June and in case of approval details such as room allocation, further logistics and potential services beyond the given ones will then be individually discussed with the Tropentag organisers.

The overall workshop plan with contact addresses will be made available on our website. The workshop organiser can choose the mode of dissemination in case it should be announced to a wider public. Otherwise workshops can also be indicated as private circle (group of people). Further details can be discussed after acceptance of the workshop.
