General structure of TT21


Due to the on-going pandemic and resultant restrictions Tropentag 2021 will be organised as a "hybrid" conference by University of Hohenheim, Germany. This means that, all oral and poster presentations will be streamed via an internet platform. A few sessions will contain livestream presentations, coming from a lecture hall. This will be the case for the plenary sessions on Wednesday 15th and Friday 17th coming from the University of Hohenheim Stuttgart. Interested participants are welcome to join.

Some further keynote presentations will be held live at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague and at the University of Kassel in Witzenhausen. Details will be posted as soon as possible. These presentations can be joined as well by interested participants.

All parallel oral presentation sessions will be organised in form of virtual live sessions. Pre-recorded oral poster presentations wil be shown in live sessions followed by a discussion between the presenters and participants. Anyway, the organisers will ensure that all TT21 attendees will have the possibility to interact with the presenters, chair-persons and participants.

Also, pre-conference workshops (Tuesday Sept. 14 afternoon, Wednesday Sept. 15 morning) and post-conference workshops (Friday Sept. 17 afternoon) will be held online as well.
