\textbf{Abstract}
\begin{abstract}
\normalsize{
   Length"=weight relationships (LWR) were calculated for 534 specimens of six populations of A. sophiae and four populations of A. vladykovi. Sampling carried out by hand net during summer 2009 in ``Fars'' and ``Chaharmahal"=o-bakhtiari'' provinces of Iran. The relationships obtained applying the exponential regression equation W=a Lb, where W is total weight (g), L is total length (cm), a is intercept and b is the slope of log transformed linear regression. To test the statistical significance of differences between sexes, analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) was done, and for possible significance difference between the estimated b values and b=3, \mbox{95\,\%} confidence limit was used. The b value was 3.333 for all populations of A. sophiae (\mbox{95\,\%} cl = 3.276 --- 3.390) and 3.407 for all population of A. vladykovi (\mbox{95\,\%} cl = 3.342 --- 3.472) which placed within expected range (2.5 --- 3.5) and showed positive allometry for both species. Also, there were significant differences between sexes in three out of six populations of A. sophiae for the b value ($p > 0.05$), whereas no significant differences were observed for the four populations of A. vladykovi ($p < 0.05$). It was cleared that range of b value is high within different populations; 3.137---3.423 for A. sophiae and 3.207---3.474 for A. vladykovi populations. Studies on LWR relationships of fishes are significant for management and conservation of populations in natural water bodies. The results revealed that Habitat and sex are two effective factors for Assessment of LWR in these species and ignoring them may lead to inaccurate results. }
