\textbf{Abstract}
\begin{abstract}

Water stress is one of the most important limiting factors for function of field crops in arid and semi arid regions. Yield assessment in various stress conditions and the use of soil microorganisms to reduce the damages of this stress are among novel sustainable agriculture solutions in arid and semi arid regions. In order to study the effect of mycorrizal on the grain yield, oil yield and elements concentration of leaf and grain, of sunflower under different irrigation regimes, an experimental was conducted in research farm of tarbiat Modares University, college of agriculture Tehran, iran in 2006--2007. A field experiment was conducted at TMU 2006. Three mycorrhiza as Glomus mosseae, Glomus hoi and UN inoculation set in main plots and three soil moisture levels (Soil water contact 40 \%( w1), Soil water contact 60 \%( w2) and Soil water contact 80 \%( w3). . All data were analysed from analysis of variance (ANOVA) using the GLM procedure in SAS and means were compared using Duncan at level of 0.05. The results indicated that the AM fungi species and irrigation regimes affected significantly all of measured except of on K concentration leaf and grain. Also Interaction of water stress and mycorrhiza was negligible on all studied traits except of on grain yield and so that the highest grain yield was achieved for treatment as Glomus mosseae under well water condition. Results indicated that various AM fungi species have exhibited profoundly different efforts in terms of plant yield and root colonisation under various water statuses.
