This investigation carried out in research forest of UPM university which is 20Km far from the Coalalampoor city. In during this survey, artificial gaps with 10 $\times$ 10, 20 $\times$ \mbox{20\,m} sizes created by four different methods in four plots with 100 $\times$ \mbox{100\,m} areas for enrichment. In two plots 9 micro plots with 10 $\times$ 10, 20 $\times$ \mbox{20\,m} sizes and the other plots 5 micro plots were created. \textit{Shorea platyclados}, \textit{Shorea assamica} and \textit{Mersava anisoptera }were planted within these micro plots with initial plantation distances of 2.5 $\times$ \mbox{2.5\,m}. Species type, number and diameter of saplings, stem length without branch, saplings height, small and big diameters of canopy cover, diameter at breast height of saplings, viability, covering percent of micro plots parameters were measured and recorded in during time interval of three months. The results of this research showed that mentioned parameters had significant statistical different among various plots. Finally, it was considered that diameter and height increments and viability were higher in gaps with medium size (13--24 canopy cover percent) than to the other sizes. Also, species had more appropriate conditions in centre of canopy gaps with small and medium sizes than to borders.



soil temperature has multiple effects and this reason the correlation values of positive and negative in nitrogen content are mentioned in different studies.



It is suspect to the increase of gap size is due to increase of temperature and light values and changing organic nitrogen to mineral form. The first layers of soil have higher nitrogen content, because of humus abundance and trees litter. In this research resulted that the gap size and crown cover percent have direct relation with diameter and height increments of saplings.
