An experiment was conducted to assess the precaecal crude protein digestibility of maize bran"=based diets with or without Roxazyme G2 G in broilers. Two hundred and fifty (250) one"=day old Abor Acre Plus chicks were randomly allotted to 5 dietary treatments of 5 replicates each. Each replicate had 10 birds. The 5 diets are as follows: Diet 1 --- the control diet had no maize bran; Diet 2 --- contained \mbox{20\,\%} maize bran and was supplemented with Roxazyme G2 G; Diet 3 --- contained \mbox{20\,\%} maize bran without Roxazyme G2 G; Diet 4 --- contained \mbox{40\,\%} maize bran and was supplemented with Roxazyme G2 G and Diet 5 --- contained \mbox{40\,\%} maize bran without Roxazyme G2 G. The feeding trial lasted 56 days. Vaccination and other routine poultry management practices were maintained. The results showed that precaecal crude protein digestibility of the diets in birds on diet 2 (\mbox{20\,\%} maize bran with Roxazyme G2 G) was significantly ($p < 0.05$) higher (\mbox{87.6\,\%}) than that of birds on the other diets. Birds on diet 5 (\mbox{40\,\%} maize bran without Roxazyme G2 G) recorded the lowest precaecal crude protein value (\mbox{56.79\,\%}). Precaecal crude protein digestibility was significantly ($p < 0.05$) higher in birds on the enzyme"=supplemented diets than in birds on the corresponding diets without enzyme supplementation. Final weight (2002.33g) and average weight gain (1888.67g) of birds on diet 2 (\mbox{20\,\%} maize bran with Roxazyme G2 G) were significantly ($p < 0.05$) higher than for birds on the other diets. Feed intake (5561.04g) of birds on diet 5 (\mbox{40\,\%} maize bran without Roxazyme G2 G) was significantly ($p < 0.05$) higher than that of birds on the other diets. Considering the cost of feeding a bird (N$_{2}$84.57) and the cost/weight gain (N146.65), birds on diet 2 (\mbox{20\,\%} maize bran with Roxazyme G2 G) showed that it is economical to raise broilers on enzyme"=supplemented diets.}
