This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of graded levels of Morning Glory (\textit{Ipomea asarifolia}) as a replacement for groundnut hay on the haematological and blood chemistry indices of growing rabbits in a semi"=arid zone of Nigeria. The experiment was laid out in a randomised complete block design (RCBD). The first treatment designated as `A' contained groundnut hay alone (\mbox{100\,\%}) without \textit{I. asarifolia} (\mbox{0\,\%}); the second treatment designated as `B' had a mixture of groundnut hay (\mbox{75\,\%}) and I. asarifolia hay (\mbox{25\,\%}); the third treatment designated as `C' had groundnut hay (\mbox{50\,\%}) and \textit{I. asarifolia }hay (\mbox{50\,\%}); the fourth treatment designated as `D' contained groundnut hay (\mbox{25\,\%}) and I. asarifolia (\mbox{75\,\%}), and the fifth treatment designated as `E' had \textit{I. asarifolia }hay alone (\mbox{100\,\%}) without groundnut hay (\mbox{0\,\%}).Thirteen (13) weeks feeding trial (including digestibility determination) was conducted using 25 growing rabbits of mixed breeds and sexes. \textit{I. asarifolia} was used to replace groundnut hay at 0, 25, 50, 75 and \mbox{100\,\%} levels as basal diet with 10g of concentrate per animal as supplement. Data obtained were subjected to analyses of variance (ANOVA) and where significant differences occurred, means were separated using Fisher's Least Significant Difference (LSD). Results indicated that haematological and blood chemistry indices, with the exception of bilirubin (direct), were not significantly ($p > 0.05$) affected by levels of Morning Glory replacement in the diet. The significant ($p < 0.05$) effect of \textit{I. asarifolia} on bilirubin (direct) content in rabbits fed 0 and \mbox{100\,\%} levels could be termed a paradox as results of other blood chemistry indices were found to be within normal range. It could be assumed that this phenomenon is extra"=hepatic in origin.The present study, therefore, established that \textit{I. asarifolia }could be used as sole source of forage for growing rabbits without adverse effect on haematological and blood chemistry indices. }
