Intercropping systems are old, effective agricultural systems which are recently applied all around the world. Therefore an experiment was conducted in the research field of Faculty of agriculture, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran, in 2009, in the form of complete randomised block design with three replications. Treatments included different combinations of hemp and sesame such as I1:\mbox{100\,\%} sesame (sole crop), I2: \mbox{100\,\%} hemp (sole crop), I3: \mbox{75\,\%} sesame and \mbox{25\,\%} hemp, I4: \mbox{50\,\%} sesame and \mbox{50\,\%} hemp, I5: \mbox{25\,\%} sesame and \mbox{75\,\%} hemp, as replacement combinations and I6: \mbox{50\,\%} sesame and \mbox{100\,\%} hemp and I7: \mbox{100\,\%} sesame and \mbox{50\,\%} hemp, as additive combinations. Seeds were cultivated directly to the soil and each plot included 3×4.5 m$^{2}$ of area with \mbox{75\,cm} for each inter row distance.  To prevent ripped sesame grains of falling on soil, harvesting took place in September, coincidently for both hemp and sesame, while the first ripped capsule of sesame appeared. Capsules were divided from each plant and seeds got out after drying plants in the shade and environment temperature.  Results of experiment showed that higher yield of sesame was seen in sole cropping of it which was \unitfrac[255.3]{gr}{m}2 and the higher grain yield among intercropping treatments belonged to the treatment of \mbox{100\,\%} of hemp+\mbox{50\,\%} of sesame which was \unitfrac[22.12]{gr}{m}2. But there were not any significant differences between intercropping treatments. Higher yield of hemp was appeared in the treatment of \mbox{50\,\%} hemp+\mbox{50\,\%} sesame, in amount of \unitfrac[310]{gr}{m}2. But the yield of hemp in sole cropping was less and about \unitfrac[114.2]{gr}{m}2 that was because of decreased ratio of female plants to male ones in high density of hemp. So it seems that to gain the highest amount of yield for hemp it should cultivated in the form of \mbox{50\,\%} hemp+\mbox{50\,\%} sesame. But sesame does not respond perfectly to intercropping with hemp that was because of less competition ability of it against hemp.   }
