Despite other ancient civilisations often formed near big rivers, Iran's geographic and climatic conditions have been such a way that its people have always tried to supply water by different methods and consume in their dwelling places. Control and use of runoffs have been one of these intelligent methods. Ebro swale is an ancient technology used for the control and exploitation of waste water and surface currents by the Iranian people for a long time (Dadras Sabzevar). The necessity of preserving water and soil resources and vegetation of watersheds in dry regions has made active experts benefit from these technologies with some changes in the traditional methods of gathering water for the revival of watershed vegetations. Several successful sorts of these methods can be found in southern and Eastern parts of this country. Here, the effect of enforcement of the project of establishing Ebro swales in optimal utilisation of water resources and enrichment of vegetation in Kuhestak region in cyric Town in Hormozgan Province has been studied after making a research. The hight of this region is \mbox{11.51\,m} from sea level, its average gradient is about \%2 and its average precipitation is 221 mm annually. The main formation forming the region have a low penetrability and high power of producing plenty runoffs with a rave rooting of plants in it. The comparison between foresting inside Ebro swale and outside them shows a better establishment, growth and freshness of these plant bases and with regard to the severe drought in this region, the importance of gathering water in this dry climate will be certain.
