Just as scientific literature have been broadly documented, agricultural production produces non"=negligible negative side"=effects in environment. Global environmental problems, such as shrinking resources, air and water pollution, degradation of natural resources and population growth, challenge the way people live. This problem has led to more attention towards environmental attitudes of the farming population. In fact, an important component of environmental conscious behaviour is to improve attitude about products and the environment. Environmental behaviour of people in urban and rural areas directly and indirectly are under the influence of their attitude towards environment. Environmental attitude includes the individual's emotions and cognitive attitudes regarding the various aspects of environmental problems of society as a whole. Since the agricultural professionals are responsible to inform farmers and public about different subjects such as conserving natural resources (by education and extension efforts), it is necessary to understand their environmental attitude.  The main purpose of this research was to investigate factors influenced agricultural professionals' attitude towards environment. We studied the effects of some variables such as health attitude, nutrient attitude, social norm toward environment, moral norm, access to agricultural and environmental information, age and record of service on attitude towards environment. The study was conducted among agricultural professionals in Jihad"=e-Keshavarzi oganisation  in Fars province (a  southern  province  in  Iran). We used a survey research by questionnaire to collect data. The results of this research will be useful for guiding policymakers to plan  and implementation of extension programs to decrease negative effects of food production systems in environment.
