\textbf{Abstract}
\begin{abstract}
\normalsize{
Water deficit is in many regions of the world the main problem. One of these parts is the region of Central Asia, where the supply of drinking water is very unsatisfactory. Local sources of drinking water donīt fulfil not even double the limits that are in the European Union. Specifically in Uzbekistan the problem is greatest. The Czech state is aware of this situation and contributes significantly Uzbekistan in the Aral region to resolve the emergency situation with the supply of the population by quality drinking water and also to find possibilities for streamlining or secondary use of water for irrigation and municipal use. From the monitoring, measurements and also the discussion is found that exist some dominant factors affecting water quality. Impact on the quality of drinking water has the augmented salt content caused by salt dust, blown by the wind from the dried bottom of the Aral sea and subsequently dissolved by rains and irrigation. Too high salt content in soil is implication due to the underground geological structure containing soluble rock plates affecting the chemical composition of water. A major problem in this region is the state of water pipes, water pipes of these systems are maintained in a limited capacity in working condition or there are broken down. Water supply was provided to the asbestos and non"=shielded surface of iron pipe. These materials are another cause of water pollution and are harmful to human health. To improve the quality of drinking water in the Aral Sea is the best solution the correct concept and  rightly the Czech Republic participates in finding this concept since several years . There are a number of technologies and equipment to improve the quality of drinking water, their use is dependent on the type of water resources, because each water source has a different chemical composition. Thanks to the joint cooperation of the Czech Republic and Uzbekistan were tested devices that provide solutions to the current situation.}
