Religions, cultures, and traditions play important roles in everyday activities of people. The relationship between human beings and nature dates back a long time. People began to discover that their life depends on natural resources, so they should make better understand the ways of all components. Hence, trees and forests remain to mankind a place of worship, welfare and comfort. Much care was therefore exercised towards this valuable gift of nature. But the need for food increased with the increasing of population and there very resources suffered due to over- use and misuse. However, some people are still willing to protect their resources particular which have direct relation to their religion and cultural aspects. Ziziphus spina - christ is one of the most important trees that have a dimensional range among many religions and cultures in many nations. Muslims consider it as holy tree, Christians, Hindu are also respect it very much. This paper reviews different concepts, similarities of Islam, Christiants religions and cultures concerning Ziziphus spina - christi. Data were collected from references, internet and some practical experiences, then compared together and discussed. The review found that all parts of the plant are used by the local people to help maintain a healthy lifestyle. It is also used in folklore medicine for the curing of various diseases. This species is frequently mentioned in Muslim as well as Christian traditions, and was also recorded by pilgrims who visited the Holy Land during generations. It is "well soaked" in the local folklore as well as the ethno medicine of almost all the ethnic groups living in the Land of Israel. So attention should be taken toward Ziziphus Ziziphus spina - christi in order to preserve it from extinction because of its great role in societies and communities.}
