\textbf{Abstract}
\begin{abstract}
\normalsize{
In order to investigate effects of nutrient resources and weed management on qualitative and quantitative criteria of Teucrium polium, an experiment was conducted as split plot based on complete randomised block design with 3 replications at the agricultural research station, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran, during 2008 and 2009.  Treatments was included different nutrient resources: manure fertiliser (\unitfrac[10]{ton}{ha}), chemical fertiliser (equal to macro elements existing in manure fertiliser), Nitroxin biological fertiliser (\unitfrac[4]{li}{ha}), Manure fertiliser (\unitfrac[10]{ton}{ha}) plus chemical fertiliser (equal high consumed elements existing in manure fertiliser), Nitroxin biological fertiliser (\unitfrac[4]{li}{ha}) plus Manure fertiliser (\unitfrac[10]{ton}{ha}) and control (not consume fertiliser) in weed infested and weed free conditions. Weed management was located in main plots and nutrient resource in sub plots. In first year, the highest height was obtained in manure + chemical fertiliser treatment (\mbox{26.3\,cm}) and the lowest in manure + Nitroxin fertiliser treatment (\mbox{14.8\,cm}) too. The results indicated that there was not significant different between treatments for shoot and diameter of Teucrium polium, in first year. But in second year of experiment, nutrient resource kind and weed management affected on shoot and diameter significantly. The highest and lowest shoot number was observed in manure+chemical fertiliser in weed free condition (88.5) and control in weed infested condition (38.2), respectively. The highest and lowest diameter of Teucrium polium were obtained in manure fertiliser (\mbox{48.4\,cm}) and control (\mbox{28.6\,cm}) in weed free condition treatments, respectively. In first year, the highest of leaf and flower dry matter was observed in manure+chemical fertiliser treatment in weed free condition with \unitfrac[2889]{kg}{ha}. In second year, maximum yield was obtained in Nitroxin biological fertiliser in weed free condition (\unitfrac[3261]{kg}{ha}).  In first year,the maximum percentage and yield of essential oil was obtained in chemical fertiliser and manure+Nitroxin treatments in weed free condition. In second year, the highest essential oil percentage was observed in Nitroxin and manure+chemical fertiliser treatments in weed infested condition.}
