\textbf{Abstract}
\begin{abstract}
\normalsize{
Colombia is a country characterised by great diversity in natural resources. It is among the wealthiest countries in water resources, having \mbox{64\,\%} of the high mountain ecosystems in the world: like Sumapaz which is located in the rural area of the capital city Bogotá.

This is where the largest area of this type of ecosystem is found. It is a source of great flora and fauna variety, with immense climatic regulation and water storage potential to supply aqueducts, recharges of aquifers and birth of the main rivers.

Water is an indispensable natural resource for man and it has been given great importance for its appropriate handling and preservation. In Colombia bleak upland conservation should necessarily involve the cultures that have preserved its biological diversity, and to keep in mind the pressures on the protected ecosystems, which are a product of social conflicts and of the development pattern; that combined with other factors like climate variability, have as consequence the excess or decrease of water.

This generates an unequal distribution of this resource among the population and its economic activities, besides the deterioration of the fundamental environmental services of the territory.

To recognise the importance of the Sumapaz moor, respect the environment, take conscience of its conservation, improve the quality of the local population's lifestyle and to position its products in a fair way; this work shows the participative construction of a trademark for the territory to serve as element of identity. This will contribute with the appropriation and integration of the community, facing the great commitment that it has with that ecosystem. In the same way, it is meant to extend the same respect and commitment to the population from urban Bogot´a for them to value the social, economical and environmental aspects of it through the fair trade of goods and services that are produced.
