The partitioning of aboveground biomass has an important role in determination of crop biomass production. In order to determine the effect of different sowing dates on probable change of partitioning coefficients in three common millet species of Iran (Common millet (\textit{Panicum miliaceum}), pearl millet (\textit{Pennisetum glaucum}) and foxtail millet (\textit{Setaria italica})), a study was conducted at five sowing dates with 30 days intervals be gun at. Planting time coincided with distinct changes in weather parameters and consequently significant variation in the performance of the crop. The partitioning coefficients to stem were determined in two phases, namely, planting to booting (previous than ear appearance) and from this stage onwards. At both stages, PC of common millet to stem was higher at first and second sowing dates, but higher stem PC in late planting dates belonged to pearl millet. Leaf DM had three linear phases, (planting to booting, booting to grain filling and grain filling to maturity). PCs for leaf and three related phases changed from 0.10 to 0.54 these values for stem and ear were from 0.39 to 0.44 and 0.09 to 0.52, respectively. Leaf DM also had too phases, namely, booting too grain filling and from this point onwards. The study clearly indicated that planting dates had profound influence on growth and development of millet as reflected from the significant variation on growth phase duration and aerial biomass partitioning. A main intelligible point is that, at proper sowing dates (the first and second sowing date) the ear PC coefficients was more. Therefore with selecting appropriate sowing date, yield will increase.}
