The feeding value of graded levels of sclerotium as a substitute for soybean meal was studied in completely randomised design experiment. Four experimental diets, a control and graded levels of sclerotium substituted at 7.5, 10 and \mbox{12.5\,\%} of soymeal. Effect of substitution was tested on growth, feed utilisation, economy of production, haematological and biochemical assay composition using fingerlings of Nile tilapia (\textit{Oreochromis niloticus}). The inclusion of sclerotium at \mbox{7.5\,\%} level gave the highest mean weight (MWG) and specific growth rate (SGR)) (4.54g and 2.45\%/day) values. The feed conversion ratio (FCR) (1.13) which was significantly different ($p < 0.05$) from both the control and other diets was also obtained at \mbox{7.5\,\%} inclusion level. The highest profit index (PI) (36.16) and least incidence cost (0.16) was recorded at \mbox{10\,\%} inclusion, although this was not significantly different from the value obtained at \mbox{7.5\,\%} level. Feeding sclerotium at all the level tested had no effect on haematological parameters except for the neutrophil which fell outside the recommended range for healthy Nile tilapia. The recorded range for alanine transaminase (ALT) (29.00--\unitfrac[34.33]{U}{L}), and aspartic acid transaminase (AST) were within range (16--\unitfrac[120]{U}{L}) for healthy Nile tilapia, while alkaline phosphatase (ALP) exceeded the expected range (10--\unitfrac[29]{U}{L}).}
