Corn in Iran very important plant and used as feed for livestock and poultry and staple human food and for many industrial purposes. Some of the most common industrial uses are as described wet milling, dry milling, and composite flours. Forage corn has a high yield potential in Guilan province. Lands is not culture rice, also when for any reason, planting of rice is delayed; forage corn could be used as an alternative cash crop. In order to study the effects of sowing date on yield and some agronomic traits of six forage corn cultivars, two experiments were conducted in 2009 year at Rasht and Fuman location. The experimental design of the experiment was randomised complete blocks with factorial arrangement with three replications. Treatment consisted of three levels of sowing data (31 May, 13 and 26 June) and six corn cultivars (SC301, DC 370, SC400, SC 647, SC 700 and SC 704) were used as treatments. Results showed that forage yield for different dates of planting were significantly different at two regions. Where 13 June at Fuman region and 26 June in Rasht regions out yielded other dates of plantin\textit{g.~Max}imum forage yield at dough stage for two regions (Fuman and Rasht) in cultivars SC 700 which were about 18860 and 23570 Kg ha$^{-1}$



dry weight at harvest time (fresh weight 90200 and \mbox{82640\,kg} ha$^{-1}$ harvest time). The results of this experiment revealed that when planting at proper time, cultivars SC 700 is more productive than other cultivars dry matter production.
