Iran has one of the richest Flores in the world considering that a significant percentage of Iranian plant species are medicinal species, so the potential and ability is high. From other hands, due to identification of dangerous effect from chemical drugs, today use of medicinal plants is highly regarded worldwide. All over the world, special attention to these sources for treatment has emerged, so that from pharmaceutical science exerts, 20\textsuperscript{th} century has been called as century of return to nature and application of herbal medicines. In order to evaluate utilisations of medicinal plants from an ethno botanical hue, a survey was conducted at Dishmook area of Central Zagros. During spring to fall 2008, utilised species were gathered and after identification and interview of local informants, ethno botanical information was acquired. In this study common utilisations of medicinal plant was studied which can act as a base for more detailed photochemical, pharmacological and economic"=oriented research studies in the area. From dominant utilised species are mountainous celery (\textit{Kelussia odoratissimia }Mozaff), Yarrow (\textit{Achillea millefolium}), Fountain grass (\textit{Nasturtium officinale}) and Denai Thyme (\textit{Thymus daenensis}) which are for many purposes. Mountainous celery is utilised for its sedative effects, treatment of lumber disk and anti"=snakebite. Yarrow (\textit{Achillea millefolium}) are used for the treatment of abdominal pain, diarrhea and stomach. Fountain grass is used for the treatment of back pain and kidney pain. Denai Thyme is used to treat colds. There are other medicinal species such as shallot (\textit{Allium sativum}), mint (\textit{Mentha} sp), and Bilhar (\textit{Dorema aucheri}) and etc. that each have a use for local people.  }
