In addition to contain forage species, pastures accommodate other non"=forage plants which are used by local people such as for medication, food and industrial etc. these species have diverse uses and values that can be introduced and their development can create new sources of income and   livelihood for exploiters and finally to improve the livelihood of them. The aim of this study is to determine the role of these non- forage species in development of livelihood and economic situations of exploiters, as well as indication of their major uses by inhabitants of Sarfariab area. Needed information for this research was acquired through questionnaire and face to face interview with local information's. Altogether 60 form interviews were performed and responses were processed. The results showed that the main occupation is agriculture and animal husbandry. More than 70 of respondents were engaged in gathering and selling of plant species form surrounding areas, which contributed as an income source for livelihood of households. A magnitude of non"=forage plant species were utilised for different range of of uses, although due to dominance of uses, some species including  Bilhar (Dorema aucheri), Acanthus(Gndelia tournofti) , Chive (Allum sp), ), Chive mountain (alum porom) were more focused. These species were utilised for many of purpose and had more subsistence and economic values and importances. Also it revealed that first utilisation of these species were pharmaceutical (Bilhar (Dorema aucheri) , Chive (Allum sp),( Chive mountain) alum porom) and food purpose (Acanthus (Gndelia tournofti)) and their other utilisation at subsequent priorities. In total, the role of plant species in the development of the region's economic situation Sarfariab was remarkable. }
